PaperlinX Accounts

[New Content: June 2013]

This section contains statutory financial reports and accounts of PaperlinX’s regional operating companies and holding companies,  sourced from companies offices and government bureaus in selected jurisdictions. We provide them to assist investors in understanding PaperlinX’s operations and structure and advise that portions of the data within the reports (particularly debtor/creditor accounts, group loans and equity) are deceptive due to inter-company transactions which are eliminated in PaperlinX’s consolidated accounts which are released to the ASX.

Different reporting obligations and lodging deadlines in PaperlinX’s operating countries mean the standard of disclosure and timeliness of information leaves a lot to be desired, however, the documents provide a level of granularity on the performance of each region that is not available in PaperlinX’s group accounts.

I have noticed there are no records for The Delivery Company which is a recognised separate company within the Paperlinx group. The Delivery Co is a non profit company apparently. I’m sure it runs at a significant loss which will compound the already pathetic performance of paperlinx

    Hi Jon,

‘PaperlinX Services Europe’ is The Delivery Company – link above has been updated for clarity. You’re right, as of 2012 it was still loss-making, however we don’t know how the transfer pricing works with the UK operating companies. It will be interesting to see if it is mentioned in the results commentary – they have excess capacity and either need to rationalise or get more 3rd party logistics contracts.

    Regards,

    Paul
